The streamline 4-8-4 Norfolk & Western "J" is believed by many to be the most impressive steam locomotive ever built. It could have earned a place in history based upon looks alone, but this locomotive's credentials went far beyond appearance. It could easily cruise at 80 to 110 MPH over fast sections of track and was quick to establish new benchmarks for performance and reliability.

This engine is in new condition and has not been run on the track. We have tested it to make sure that all features work and that it runs properly.
